PHI 3:8       What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ

PHI 3:9       and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.

PHI 3:20      But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

PHI 4:6       Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

PHI 4:7       And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

PHI 4:8       Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.

COL 2:12      having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.

COL 2:13      When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,

COL 2:14      having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross.

COL 2:23      Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.

COL 3:1       Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.

COL 3:2       Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

COL 3:3       For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

1TH 5:18      give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

TIT 2:11      For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.

TIT 2:12      It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,

TIT 2:13      while we wait for the blessed hope--the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,

TIT 2:14      who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

TIT 2:15      These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you.

HEB 4:9       There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God;

HEB 4:10      for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his.

HEB 4:16      Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

HEB 9:26      Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.

HEB 10:4      because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

HEB 10:10     And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

HEB 11:6      And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

HEB 11:37     They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated--

HEB 11:38     the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground.

HEB 11:39     These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised.

HEB 11:40     God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

JAM 1:2       Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,

JAM 1:25      But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it--he will be blessed in what he does.

JAM 2:10      For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

JAM 4:6       But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

1PE 1:6       In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.

1PE 1:7       These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

1PE 4:12      Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you.

2PE 1:3       His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

1CO 2:16      "For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

1CO 6:15      Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!

1CO 6:16      Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh."

1CO 6:17      But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.

1CO 6:18      Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

1CO 6:19      Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

1CO 6:20      you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

1CO 10:13     No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

1CO 12:13     For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free--and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

1CO 15:22     For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

1CO 15:56     The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

2CO 3:6       He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant--not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

2CO 3:7       Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, fading though it was,

2CO 3:8       will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious?

2CO 3:9       If the ministry that condemns men is glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness!

2CO 5:14      For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.

2CO 5:17      Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

2CO 5:18      All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:

2CO 5:21      God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2CO 11:3      But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

GAL 2:20      I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

GAL 2:21      I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"

GAL 3:1       You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified.

GAL 3:2       I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard?

GAL 3:3       Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?

GAL 3:10      All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law."

GAL 3:11      Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith."

GAL 3:12      The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them."

GAL 3:23      Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed.

GAL 3:24      So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith.

GAL 3:25      Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.

GAL 5:1       It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

GAL 5:2       Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.

GAL 5:3       Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.

GAL 5:4       You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

GAL 5:13      You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.

GAL 5:14      The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

GAL 5:15      If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

GAL 5:16      So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

GAL 5:17      For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.

GAL 5:18      But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

GEN 15:6      Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

GEN 20:6      Then God said to him in the dream, "Yes, I know you did this with a clear conscience, and so I have kept you from sinning against me. That is why I did not let you touch her.

DEU 9:5       It is not because of your righteousness or your integrity that you are going in to take possession of their land; but on account of the wickedness of these nations, the LORD your God will drive them out before you, to accomplish what he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

DEU 9:6       Understand, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the LORD your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stiff-necked people.

JOB 10:12     You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit.

JOB 22:2      "Can a man be of benefit to God? Can even a wise man benefit him?

ACT 26:22     But I have had God's help to this very day, and so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen--

ROM 3:22      This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,

ROM 3:23      for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

ROM 3:24      and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

ROM 4:4       Now when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift, but as an obligation.

ROM 4:5       However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.

ROM 4:16      Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring--not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.

ROM 5:2       through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

ROM 5:6       You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

ROM 5:7       Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.

ROM 5:8       But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

ROM 5:15      But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!

ROM 5:16      Again, the gift of God is not like the result of the one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.

ROM 5:17      For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.

ROM 5:18      Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men.

ROM 5:19      For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

ROM 5:20      The law was added so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,

ROM 5:21      so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

ROM 9:10      Not only that, but Rebekah's children had one and the same father, our father Isaac.

ROM 9:11      Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad--in order that God's purpose in election might stand:

ROM 9:12      not by works but by him who calls--she was told, "The older will serve the younger."

ROM 9:13      Just as it is written: "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."

ROM 9:14      What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all!

ROM 9:15      For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."

ROM 9:16      It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy.

ROM 11:5      So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.

ROM 11:6      And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.

1CO 1:4       I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus.

1CO 1:5       For in him you have been enriched in every way--in all your speaking and in all your knowledge--

1CO 1:6       because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you.

1CO 1:7       Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.

1CO 1:8       He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

EPH 4:7       But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.

EPH 6:10      Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

PHI 1:19      for I know that through your prayers and the help given by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.

JUD 1:21      Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

JUD 1:25      to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
