EPH 5:18      Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.

COL 2:23      Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.

COL 3:1       Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.

COL 3:2       Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

COL 3:3       For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

GAL 2:21      I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"

GAL 3:1       You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified.

GAL 3:2       I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard?

GAL 3:3       Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?

GAL 3:10      All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law."

GAL 3:11      Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith."

GAL 3:12      The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them."

GAL 3:23      Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed.

GAL 3:24      So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith.

GAL 3:25      Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.

GAL 5:1       It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

GAL 5:2       Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.

GAL 5:3       Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.

GAL 5:4       You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

GAL 5:13      You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.

GAL 5:14      The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

GAL 5:15      If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

GAL 5:16      So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

GAL 5:17      For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.

GAL 5:18      But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

ROM 3:22      This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,

ROM 3:23      for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

ROM 3:24      and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

ROM 4:4       Now when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift, but as an obligation.

ROM 4:5       However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.

ROM 4:16      Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring--not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.

ROM 5:2       through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

ROM 5:6       You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

ROM 5:7       Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.

ROM 5:8       But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

ROM 5:15      But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!

ROM 5:16      Again, the gift of God is not like the result of the one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.

ROM 5:17      For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.

ROM 5:18      Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men.

ROM 5:19      For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

ROM 5:20      The law was added so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,

ROM 5:21      so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

ROM 9:10      Not only that, but Rebekah's children had one and the same father, our father Isaac.

ROM 9:11      Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad--in order that God's purpose in election might stand:

ROM 9:12      not by works but by him who calls--she was told, "The older will serve the younger."

ROM 9:13      Just as it is written: "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."

ROM 9:14      What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all!

ROM 9:15      For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."

ROM 9:16      It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy.

ROM 11:5      So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.

ROM 11:6      And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.

1CO 1:4       I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus.

1CO 1:5       For in him you have been enriched in every way--in all your speaking and in all your knowledge--

1CO 1:6       because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you.
