Display any of the popular graphic image formats by scrolling through
your directory. COMPUSHOW is a graphics display program for CompuServe
GIF and RLE, MacPaint, PC Paint, PC Paintbrush, Dr. Halo, Ega Paint, and
ColoRix graphics images. It supports Hercules, CGA, PCjr/Tandy-1000,
EGA, "Super-EGA", MCGA, VGA, "Super-VGA", the IBM Professional Graphics
Controller and 8514/A adapters. Super-VGA support includes Ahead
Systems, ATI, Chips & Technologies, Everex, Paradise, AST, Compaq, Dell,
Genoa, Orchid, STB, Trident, Logix, ZyMOS, and Video7 adapters (and
compatibles). CompuShow also provides 16 color graphics displays on a
CGA, and Tandy 1000SL/TL 640x200x16 color mode.
Files are selected for display from an on-screen file directory, which
may be sorted by name, extension, size or date, in ascending or
descending sequence. You may log to a different disk drive, change
sub-directories, copy, rename, and delete files. The program will
automatically select the best display mode for any graphic, or you may
display it in any mode available on your graphics adapter. Images
larger than the screen may be panned vertically and horizontally.
Colors may be adjusted on EGA, MCGA, and VGA systems, and the adjusted
palette saved to disk.
The registered version of the program provides printing on monochrome
and color dot matrix and laser printers and includes an automatic slide
show, and a system configuration program.

This disk contains CompuShow Version 8.21a with all required files in two
formats, in two sub-directories:
\BBS CSHOWA.EXE is a self-extracting LhArc, for posting on a BBS.
If space is available, the file description could include the
instructions:
"Download as CSHOWA.EXE and run CSHOWA to de-archive the files.
Then run PRINTDOC to print the program documentation."
\SHARE The files in this sub-directory are intended for distribution on
ShareWare disks. Program documentation is provided in README.EXE,
and a sample graphic file is included.
To use CompuShow as a viewer on a disk of graphics, the sample
GIF file may be omitted, but you must include README.EXE and
*.DRV in addition to CSHOW.EXE.
File DESCRIBE.TXT in the root directory is a brief description of the
program for a ShareWare catalog listing, etc.
