PROGRAMMER'S EDITOR is a text editor primarily for programmers.

SK Storing Keys
The INS key (located on the keypad) toggles INSert and overtype
modes. In insert mode, characters are inserted into the text at
the current cursor location. In overtype mode, characters typed
on the keyboard replace the characters in the text. The DEL key
(also located on the keypad) deletes the character at the
current cursor location. The backspace key deletes the previous
character.
